Fola Olusanya is a PhD candidate in the Microbiology program at the NYU Grossman School of Medicine. She joined the Pironti lab in 2022 and is co-mentored by Drs. Shopsin and Torres. Fola has been doing research on the genomics and cytotoxicity of Staphylococcus aureus isolates from patients in the NYU Langone hospital system and will continue this work during her PhD.
