Alejandro Pironti, PhD is an assistant professor of microbiology at New York University’s Grossman School of Medicine, where he directs the Microbial Computational Genomics Core Lab. Excitingly, he is helping establish NYU’s Antimicrobial-Resistant Pathogens Program, in which he will explore new ways of using genomics as a tool for preventing and treating bacterial infections within NYU’s hospital system.
